Hey friends!
Boy do I have a fun little thing for you today. Gold House Paper + Press and I got together (figuratively) and decided to spoil the snot out of one sweet SLBS reader. We'll get to that in a second, though.
Every so often, I like to take a day off (from everything), make a cup of tea (chai preferably), stay in my jammies (all darn day), and actually handwrite little love notes to family and friends. Sure, I keep in touch on a regular basis via emails and text messages and yeah, I know what's going on with them pretty consistently because of Facebook posts, but there's just something very "from the heart" and sweet as pie when you receive snail mail that's been sent especially for you. Right? To see their hand writing, their fun doodles, stickers, washi tape, or whatever other decorations they choose to add for you specifically...it's basically the best thing to come to one's mail box. Well other than a box full of free clothes or a zillion dollars.
When I saw the adorable cards from Gold House Paper + Press I said to myself, "Self! Get a bunch. Like, a bunchsies. Nowsies. And catch up on all your snail mail writing. Because it's been forever ago since you did it last." Not only that, but one of my dearest friends, who lives miles and miles from me was having a birthday soon, so it seemed like the best time to make it happen, as any.
I decided to stock up on some cute snail mail worthy cards through their shop and picked up that adorable birthday cake card, the CUTEST fawn "just because" card, and another "just because" hello greeting card. Because, you never know when you just need to tell someone, "Hello" and "I miss your face" with your own hand writing.
I kid not, I almost framed this little fawny beauty and placed it in our bedroom. I mean, come on! It's the cutest, most adorable little lovey card with cutesie baby animals on it, everrrrrrr! With puns! Everyone loves a good pun.
Not only that, but I also decided to get an art print. Because, I just had to frame something. My husband and I just recently redecorated our living room (and bedroom actually) so a nice new print sounded really nice. By "redecorating" I actually mean, "decluttered and waaaaaaay simplified all that was in each room". I removed about 20 pictures from the walls and thus, had a lot of open wall space and an excess of frames!
You can never have enough biblical scripture up around your home armoring and filling your mind with thoughts that are pure and good and holy. Constantly reminding me of His truths, every day, in every room, so I don't forget.
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. - Philippians 4:8
Gold House Paper + Press has a few scripture prints to choose from, but I finally settled on their "Come to Me" one because honestly, I need big time encouragement and reminders of just how pure, loving and available for the taking His help and rest really is, daily! This is one I really struggle with.
Plus that handwritten font!! And font color! You all know how much I love my minty sea inspired colors! Upon seeing it, I was instantly taken to SwoonsVille. With a one-way ticket. Happy to oblige!
Good news too! I had literally just painted an old 8x10 frame with some of Valspar's satin paint in "Sprinkle" and wouldn't you know, the dang print went perfectly in it! I couldn't have planned that better myself.
And friends, everything came packaged up so nice and neat (and quick)! Every card included was printed perfectly on heavy duty card stock, colors vibrant and amazing, and included an awesome and well made envelope, for easy sending off, on my part. Each was wrapped in protective casing, so none of it's beauty got damaged along the way to my house.
The print was also packaged up protectively and beautifully. Fitted against hardcore unbendable cardboard to keep it flat during transit and in it's own protective package, its sure to make it safely to anyone's home.
Gold House Paper + Press doesn't just stop at cards and prints though. They also offer notecards, stationery sets (like this awesome monogram one!!), iPhone cases (with kitties!!!), and wedding invites as well! Your one-stop-paper-goods-shop!
That's not all guys...
That's right!! Gold House Paper + Press is generously offering one SLBS reader allllllll this amazing loot! You'll make out like a bandit!
